As Manager of Data Services and Delivery, one of my key projects was to upgrade our reporting application and improve client access to and usage of reporting. I architected a new security model for the report application and led conversations with clients to better understand their data discovery and usage needs.
To provide clients with more intuitive and efficient reporting, I designed essential subject areas, including executive, payments, subscription, and transactional reporting. I also created a customized reporting process for clients, which enabled additional functionality and provided revenue opportunities for our team. Our platforms included Google Cloud, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, and we utilized microservices architecture and Google Pub/Sub.
In another project, as a Solution Architect, I worked on Shopper/Payment/Checkout Abandonment Reporting. Through requirements gathering and coordination with our application development team, we gained insights on when shoppers were dropping off during the shopping process. We designed visual dashboards to showcase the flow and abandonment of shoppers, from visits to success or failure.
Finally, I was also involved in Subscription Reporting. As the project lead for the Data Services team, I worked on competitor/market analysis and became a subject matter expert on the platform's functionality. We designed a data pipeline and a database for storing the data, and created dashboards for subscription-specific KPIs such as cohort analysis, renewal rates, and cancellation rates. As the face of Data Services Reporting, I walked clients through reports, worked through explanations, and took feature requests.
