Checkout Abandonment Reporting

Project Description: The company had no insights in terms of when shoppers were dropping off during the shopping process across its various customer-themed experiences.

Role: Solution Architect

• Requirements gathering from stake holders: listened to the needs of the internal persons to understand key concepts and metrics reporting needed to highlight
• Provided wireframe mockups of visuals as well as functionality within proposed designs
• Coordinated directly with Application Development team to learn where the data was stored in the stored, how it was stored and why it was stored in that manner.
• Data Pipeline Requirements to Data Services engineers outline what had been learned from meetings with the Stake Holders and Application Development team.
• Visual Dashboards Requirements for BI engineers outlining look, feel and functionality.
• End result showcased clearly to leadership the flow and abandonment of shoppers from visits, to shopping carts, to payment methods/ checkouts, to confurnation pages, to success and failures.
